If you are using Zotero, you can click on the cite link, and Google Scholar will give you various options for downloading to Reference Managers.
If you select Refman the file type you can download will be compatible with Zotero. You can download the citation for the journal article straight into Zotero, and then you can connect to Word with Zotero and use it straight away in word.
If you have Zotero installed, the Zotero program will activate a pop up box and automatically take the citation for the article and save it to your collection of references in Zotero.
Select OK, and Zotero will prompt you to save the file, asking which library you would like it saved to:
