Editing your Google Scholar Profile

To edit  your professional / Personal details on your author profile

1) To edit your profile, click on the menu icon  in the top left and go to My Profile.


 

2) Open up your Author profile, under the three bar drop down menu, top left.
3) Select the pencil graphic next to your name

4) Your profile will then pop up, with editable fields.
5) You can change your:

  • Name
  • Affiliation
  • Areas of Interest
  • Email for verifications
  • Homepage

To add co-authors

1) Select co-authors > then select edit
 


2) Select the co author edit button - type in the co authors name and select.


 

3) Your profile should only include articles that you wrote.

Removing an Article from your Google Scholar Author Profile

To remove an article that you didn't write, click "REVIEW", then "MAKE A CORRECTION", select "I'm not an author of this article" from the list of options and click "DONE". The article will be removed from your public access page. It will also be deleted from your profile. If you don't see "MAKE A CORRECTION", sign in to the Google account that you used to create your profile.

1) Alternatively, you can easily remove an article from your own profile page after logging in >

2) Select the three stripes at the top left of Google Scholar

3) Then select “My Profile”

4) Go to your list of articles
5) Select the article you would like to remove
6) Select the article
7) Then select
Delete
